1. Experienced tutors like me can help you pinpoint directly and exactly the step(s) where you have made careless mistakes or errors. In contrast, for group tuition, you will often have to spot the careless mistakes and errors yourself when your final answer does not match with the answer key. This can cause some undue anxiety and distress when you are unable to locate the errors personally.
2. Lessons can be tailored to your pace of learning accordingly. Do allow me to share a story by a parent who tried to sign her child up for group tuition. For your information, roughly 50 percent of the H2 Pure Math syllabus is on Calculus (Differentiation and Integration). This parent has identified that her child is specifically weak in this section. Unfortunately, all the group tuition classes that she enquired on have already completed teaching for these topics. Hence, it would not be possible to revisit Calculus based on the needs of the child alone. Group tuition classes cater their lessons to the majority instead. Subsequently, the parent managed to find and engage me for 1 to 1 H2 Math tuition and we specifically worked on this section. Eventually, the child managed to secure an A grade for her H2 Math thankfully.
3. I know exactly the topics and concepts where you may not have sufficient practice while doing your ten years series only. This includes the topics of sequence and series and complex numbers (Argand diagrams) where major tweaks have been done in the new H2 Math syllabus. Hence, I have prepared additional practice questions for you targeted at these specific areas.

A Level Solutions
I have written answer keys for some of the recent A Level Maths Papers . This is because I not only want my students to know the answers to the questions, but also the thinking process behind them, pitfalls and common misconceptions to avoid. The exact same question is unlikely to be repeated in the A Level exams but you will likely require the same thinking processes to tackle questions from the same topic.
I would also want to identify the difficult questions for my students, so that you can place these aside first, focus on those manageable questions but yet you are having difficulties. After that, then you go back to these difficult questions and try them again. Remember that it is important to be exam smart, you do not need 100% to get your ‘A’ grade. However, you must be able to do the questions that an average student should be able to do, and maximise your marks there.
