Dear students and parents, you can view the details below for Singapore’s JC Cut Off Points in 2023. Please note that there are 2 possible streams available for most of the Junior Colleges.
The arts stream will be suitable for students who have an interest in humanities subjects such as literature, history, languages, and the arts. This stream includes subjects such as literature, history, geography, economics and china studies in english.
In contrast, the science stream is suitable for students who have an interest in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
In order to be eligible for entry into the respective stream of each Junior College, please note that your L1R5 net aggregate score must be the same or lower than that specified in the table below.
You should also notice that the JC Cut Off Points for science stream is more stringent compared to the arts stream for many of the Junior Colleges. As far as I am aware, it is not possible for you to enter the Arts stream of a particular Junior College successfully, then decide to switch to the Science stream when you do not meet the cut off point criteria.
