If you are a JC1 or JC2 student currently studying in SAJC taking A Level Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Economics, SAJC A Level tuition will be suitable for you.
I myself, Mr Peh, a former full time lecturer and tutor of SAJC will be conducting the lessons.
Mr Peh’s style of teaching
1. Firstly, you will be provided with condensed topical summary notes.
Then, I will spend the first 10 to 15 minutes of the lesson, explaining:
-Important points that you have to particularly take note of
-Common misconceptions that students have
-Careless mistakes you must avoid!
2. Next, you will be trying out drill questions that require you to apply specific important concepts. The objective of these questions is to help you build up your confidence. If you are having any difficulties with them, do not worry as I will be your side, guiding you along.
3. Once you are ready, we will move on to the standard as well as challenging questions that I have sourced from past year JC prelim and A level papers. I have arranged them by the various types of questions to ensure that you become well-versed with the steps, thinking process and skills required to handle each type of question. At this stage, you should have a mastery of the content already and is now ready to handle your school examination questions.
4. If you have any burning questions from your school lecture notes or tutorials, feel free to ask me during the lesson as well. I will be more than happy to help you clarify your doubts!
What Mr Peh believes in
I think what many JC students taking the A level exam need is really a lot of encouragement.
With sufficient exposure to the various types of questions and diligent practice, coupled with the guidance of an experienced tutor familiar with the A level syllabus, you will eventually be able to achieve mastery of the knowledge and skills required.
So do believe in yourself and we will overcome this challenge of the fast paced A level curriculum together.

What is special about Mr Peh’s lessons?
Firstly, Mr Peh has achieved the highest possible honour of A star for Cambridge International A Level Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics Examination, scoring close to 100% of the total score for all the subjects.
This means that Mr Peh knows exactly what Cambridge examiners are looking for in your scripts inside out and will highlight them to you throughout the entire course of our lessons together.
Secondly, as a former SAJC teacher, Mr Peh knows clearly the standards you have to deliver for school internal examinations. This includes the important JC1 promotional examinations which will determine whether you will get promoted to JC2.
Hence, Mr Peh will prepare you accordingly, helping you to excel in the school internal examinations as well as the A Levels.
Thirdly, Mr Peh only takes in a selected small number of students each year. This means that you will be able to receive undivided attention and customised teaching that suits your learning style and needs.
Fourthly, if you are taking the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics, you can also enjoy flexibility in the subject that you would like to focus on for each lesson. This includes last minute refresher lesson to prepare for upcoming tests, and with greater emphasis working on your weaker subjects and topics.
